An information session on Fulbright programs took place at D’Youville College On October 18, 2019. Discussions and presentations about student and faculty programs was organized by the College and the WNY/NWPA Fulbright Association Board.
Following a welcome by Dr. Mimi Steadman, VPAA at D’Youville, and several Board members, Dr. Paul Violanti gave the keynote address. In addition to being a Clinical Assistant Professor, Dr. Violanti is a partner at Jericho Road Community Health Center. He discussed the health clinics that this organization set up in Nepal, Sierra Leone, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Additional presentations were made by Dr. Laura Clay (Student Fulbright to Bangladesh), Dr. Cathleen Morreale (Fulbright Specialist to South Africa), and Natalie DuBois (Student Fulbright to Germany).
